About us
Who We Are
“Suubi” means Hope. That’s what we stand for
SUUBI Fusion Troupe is a youth-led, community-driven performing arts group based in Uganda. Founded to provide hope, healing, and opportunity to disadvantaged children and youth, we use the vibrant energy of African dance, music, drama, and acrobatics to tell stories, inspire communities, and transform lives. We believe that talent knows no boundaries, and that every child—regardless of their background—deserves the chance to thrive. Through art, we break cycles of poverty, exclusion, and hopelessness, giving young people not just a voice, but a stage
Our Story
SUUBI Fusion Troupe emerged as a safe space for children and teenagers facing difficult life circumstances—including poverty, domestic violence, school dropout, and orphanhood. What started as a small group of passionate performers has grown into a nationally recognized troupe that nurtures artistic excellence and builds life skills for hundreds of young people. We are proof that when given the tools and support, even the most vulnerable can shine.
